Nestling on the Langbian Plateau at an elevation of 1,500 m above sea level, Dalat was discovered in 1893 by Dr. A. Yersin in his attempt to build a hill retreat for French officials. Besides enchanting pine forests, rolling hills and tranquil lakes, the local architecture is influenced by Vietnamese, K’ho and French cultures. The trip offers outdoor activities (trekking and abseiling) in beautiful mountain landscape and opportunities to get to know the simple life and warm hospitality of hill tribes. The best season is from December to April.
