Fansipan For Everyone NEW
6 days / 5 nights with 3 or 4 days trekking
The peak of Fansipan (N 22018’192’’, E 103046’516’’), the roof of Indochina (3,143m), only 8km away from Sapa as the crow flies. It will take 3-4 days for visitors to conquer Fansipan from Sapa. It is rated as one of most challenge destinations in Asia, the exploring trip will take visitors through minority villages, thick jungles, vertical mountain cliffs and deep valleys. Depending on the experience and health of visitors, this tour will be designed with different routes: ridge route, Eastern or western side of the mountain. This program is designed as an outward journey to follow the ridge route and the return journey is follow the Eastern side. Visitors will hike through the 19.5km jungle in the entire trip. They can choose the shorter road to conquer the top on the outward and return journey by 16.8km ridge route. The ideal time to conquer Fansipan is from October to April and the tour should be coordinated between two spells of northeastern wind. However, October – November and February - March are favorite months because of less rain, the sky is bright, cloud flies low and cover the valley and this is also season of wild flowers. There are some tents to rest at night on the way but they are very sparse. Visitors often choose to sleep at night in a tent under jungle canopy. A porter (cook, pitch tent, each visitor needs one porter) and an experienced head guide are chosen and hired by Vietmark for your Fansipan conquering trip.
