Sapa’s stunning natural beauty and friendly people are fast becoming a favourite spot of extensive travellers. It is never short of spectacular sights as visitors trek through hill-tribe villages nestling amidst green terraced rice fields with splendid cloud-capped mountains in the background. The region is home to many ethnic groups (Black H’mong, Red Dao, Day, Tay, etc.), with their traditional and colourful attire.

Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai (-, -, -) Evening: Meet in downtown Hanoi and coach to the Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Laocai. O/N on board.
Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L, D) Arrive at Lao Cai. Coach to Sapa. Trek (10km) along the Muong Hoa Valley to the Day and Black H’mong villages of Ta Van and Lao Cai. Lunch & dinner at local homes. O/N at a local home at Ta Van.
Day 3: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Ban Ho (B, L, D) AM: Trek (7km) to the Red Dao village of Giang Ta Chai. PM: Trek (8km) to the Tay village of Ban Ho. Lunch & dinner at local homes. O/N at a local home at Ban Ho.
Day 4: Ban Ho – Sapa (B, -, -) AM: Trek (5km) to Su Pan. Coach to Sapa. Hotel check-in. PM: At leisure. O/N at the hotel.
Day 5: Sapa – Lao Cai (B, -, -) AM: Visit to the Sapa Market, Mount Ham Rong. PM: coach to Ta Phin, visit to a Red Dao village. Proceed to Lao Cai. Take the night train to Hanoi. O/N on board.
Day 6: Lao Cai – Hanoi (-, -, -) AM: Arrival in Hanoi in the very early morning. Pick-up and transfer to downtown Hanoi.
