This tour is meant for those who love cheerful ethnic minorities and spectacular mountain scenery. From Hanoi, visitors will travel to Lao Cai by train and then take a pleasant drive to the limestone plateau of Bac Ha where Coc Ly Fair is held on Tuesday mornings only (or Can Cau Fair on Saturday mornings, Bac Ha Fair on Sunday mornings). The markets are known for the beauty of Flower H’mong people and other hill tribes in natural surroundings. The trading and cultural activities of Red Dao and Black H’mong people are lovely sights to shoot and photograph. A range of train carriages such as Victoria, Tulico, Royal and Vietnam Railways is available. |

A compact tour of the northeastern mountains and Ba Be National Park is one of the most desirable programmes in Vietnam.
